The tardy bell rings at 8:15. If you drop your student off after 8:25, you must come into the office and sign them in or it will be marked as an unexcused tardy.  If you need to pick up your child early, please come in and sign them out and we will be glad to call them down from their classroom. We cannot call a student down until you have signed them out.

 Parents are welcome to come to school and visit their child’s classroom.  We ask that you check with the teacher and coordinate a time that works for the teacher as well as you.  You will need to stop at the office and get a badge. 

There is instruction going on in classrooms until the bell rings at 3:25.  We ask that you try and schedule appointments for after school or days that school is not in session.  Signing out children before school is over affects their learning and their attendance.

Bus Changes

         If you need to make changes to your student’s afternoon routine, please call their teacher by 3:10 p.m.  Teachers do not answer their phones and any messages left after that time may not be received. 

Staff on Duty

            Wamsley Elementary does not  have staff on duty at the building until 7:45.  Children cannot be dropped off before this time as it is a safety issue.  Our doors are not always unlocked and it is getting colder.  Please make sure that your child is not brought to school until 7:45.
